 Shaun from Christchurch Angling Centre and lads had a good time on there first visit of 2008. They managed Barbel nets up to 98lb. Sean was so close to breaking the ton on 4 occasions, but with weather conditions against him as the fish didn't get there heads down until well into the afternoon. The crucians didn't feed until around 4 o'clock, with a little over 3 hours fishing, Sean still managed a 94lb net and Craig 86lb

Darrel and Shaun from Christchurch Angling Centre got to terms with the Barbel on sliding waggler and tip. They had  bags of barbel to 50lb+, crucian carp over 3 lb and as the carp just did not feed, managed just a solitary carp.

The lads had good nets in their matches with 119lb of Crucians and Carp only managing  5th place on day 4. Other weights that day were 269lb, 224lb, 222lb and 195lb. They had carp to double figure and barbel to 8.5lb.
